Searching for Seaweed - Workshop!
Learn about different types of edible seaweeds, where to find them, how to harvest safely and sustainably, and the rules and regulations to follow to help ensure seaweed harvests into the future, along with some recipe ideas!
This is a free event but has limited spots - please register at https://s4s2026.eventbrite.com to let us know you're coming!
Please bring:
- Valid shellfish/seaweed harvesting license if you plan to collect and take home
- Boots to traverse shallow pools and potentially muddy spots
- Buckets or quart size ziplock bags to take seaweed home in
- Dress for the weather! (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
- Water and snacks as needed
